Cllr. Martin Humphries ACMA, CGMA

Chairman

Martin has been Chair of Sutton Maddock Parish Council since January 2022 and has lived in Sutton Maddock since 2017. Martin is passionate about maintaining the quality of life for the local residents and is especially concerned about the speeding and misuse of the parish’s roads. He has extensive experience of working in international businesses and is presently the Group Director of Internal Audit for a global, tech-enabled creative production and procurement company.

Cllr. Max Speke

Max’s family home was in the village and having lived here for most of his married life he has seen the village aspect change considerably.

Having now retired, Max feels he can hopefully contribute to maintaining a good quality of life for the residents of the village by being a parish councillor.

Cllr. Elizabeth Attwood MTCP

Elizabeth has been a Member of Sutton Maddock Parish Council for over 20 years, as both a Councillor, Vice Chair and Chair. She has lived in Brockton since 2000. She is passionate about protecting the Green Belt open countryside from inappropriate development and maintaining and upgrading public rights of way. She has over 35 years of experience of working in Local Government across several different authorities in various disciplines, including land surveying, drainage, asset & property and town planning.

Cllr Adele Evason

Cllr Adele Evason has previously served on the Parish Council and returned in May 2026.

Cllr Rudy Austin

Cllr Rudy Austin will become a Parish Councillor in 2025.
