Recording of Meetings

Under the Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, members of the public may now film, photograph and make audio recordings of the proceedings of the formal Council meeting, though not, under current legislation, of the Public Participation session, as this is not part of the formal agenda of the meeting. Recording activity should be respectful to the conduct of the meeting and behaviour that disrupts the meeting (such as oral commentary) will not be permitted.

Members are asked to receive apologies of absence for this meeting.

3. Declarations of Interest.

To receive declarations of interest under consideration on this agenda in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s32 and The Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.

Members are reminded that should you declare a pecuniary interest at a meeting, it is your responsibility to inform the Monitoring Officer.

4. Public Question Time and Participation

Members of the public are advised that they are welcome to ask questions about items on the Agenda. It is not always possible to give a verbal response at the meeting and questions may receive a written reply. No resolution can be made under this item.

Questions should relate to matters of Parish Council policy or practice and not relate to the individual affairs of either the questioner or any other named person.

5. Co-option of a Councillor

Members are asked to confirm the co-option of Chris Walker as a Parish Councillor for Sutton Maddock Parish Council

6. Chairman’s Announcements

The Chairman will give any announcements in relation to parish matters or the agenda.

7. Minutes

To approve the draft minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 13^th December  2018.

8. Updates on items from the meeting on the 13^th September 2018

The Clerk will report back on the following matters:

• Concern about Renew where Graham Manton, Apley Estates had been

involved a couple of enforcement actions in relation to Grindlehouse Farm

who were still not keeping to their planning consent and conditions.

• Installation of the CCTV signage for the Rural Crime Initiative and whether

they were available.

• On the road by the garage where there was a water problem the manhole had

been covered up.

9. Finance

• Bank Account

This has now been confirmed and the Clerk is able to act on behalf of the Parish Council.

10. Request for approval of a local connection application

Members are asked to note that the Chairman and the Clerk have met with the applicants with regard to a local connection planning application and sent the relevant letter to the agents and Shropshire Council planning department.

11. Shropshire Council meeting with Town and Parish Councils

The Councillor who attends this meeting will give a verbal report on this meeting.

12.4 Local Plan Review

Shropshire Local Plan Review – ‘Preferred Sites’ Consultation

Members are asked to consider that might affect or be pertinent to the Parish of Sutton Maddock.

13. A442 Brocton Crossroads

At the July meeting the following response had been received from Shropshire Council Highways.

Both the Clerk and the Chairman wrote to Shropshire Council and will give an available update at the meeting.

14. Review of the Community Enablement Team

The Clerk will update Members on the current review of the Community Enablement Team at Shropshire Council

15. Any new matters relating to the parish not included elsewhere on the

      agenda.

Members are invited to raise any matter brought to their attention in the parish but are asked to note that no decisions can be made under this item.

16. Date of next meeting

Members are asked to note that the next meeting of Sutton Maddock Parish Council is scheduled to be held on Thursday 14^th March 2019.

To enable the hall to be booked for the Parish Council meetings could Members confirm the following dates for your meetings in 2019.
